How to make a magnet? We will learn the most convenient method to make a small magnet using single touch method. (1) Take a piece of magnetic material like iron bar on a flat surface. (2) Then take the permanent magnet bar and hold it vertically in such a way that one of the poles of a magnet touches the iron bar. (3) Rub the magnet bar over the surface of the iron bar. Make sure to rub in one direction only so as to ft the magnet from the surface of the object, after every swipe. (4) Then swipe it again, in the same motion as before and continue rubbing the magnet over the object at least 50 times. (5) If the process of rubbing the bar magnet over the iron bar is done correctly, then the iron bar get magnetized. (6) Now take a magnetized iron bar near small iron pins . You will observe that the pins will get attracted towards the magnet and will stick to it. The more times you rub the permanent magnet over your iron bar, the more powerful your magnet will become.
